well readers, not much to say today! going to eat Mexican with the parents tonight! J. has been SUPER tired lately (kinda worried about him) like he slept around 14 hrs today!!!!! if anyone has any suggestions let me know, he says he doesn't feel down or depressed, and he has been excited about PT and rehabing his ankle. He has made alot of progress, can walk for a little bit with no crutches! (for ppl not familiar with the situation J. shattered his right ankle in training and the brilliant corpsman told him it was just a sprain and to walk it off until J. threw up 5 times and passed out, he WALKED himself to the ER the next morning where the Dr. told him its the worst ankle break he had ever seen, thanx USMC infantry) -K.
Oh my gosh, that's awful! The USMC is so tough! I know that when Joshua trains his Marines, it isn't a "good PT" until he makes one of them puke... but if any of them were ever injured he'd take them to the ER himself, and stay with them until they were discharged! He's done it a few times. Hope he's feeling better soon!
I am 25, in nursing school and have my BS in Kinesiology where i met my honey, my better half is 27, an Infantry Marine, has his BS in Kinesiology and Pre-Law, he is easily the most amazing person I know. Yes, I am one of those people who is consumed by LOVE! Right now we are 14 hours away from each other, and yes distance is a B*TCH! But I can honestly say I think we do an amazing job at it, of course there will be bumps when you can't see and hold the thing you love most in the world, we battle mis-communication, juggling schedules, and separation anxiety but I can honestly say everyday, every second he is worth it! I have a 4lb yorkie (Jessi) and a fat tabby cat (Oscar)
that sounds just awful about his ankle! makes my stomach hurt to think about it. I'm glad he's on the mend though. :)
