- I am 25, in nursing school and have my BS in Kinesiology where i met my honey, my better half is 27, an Infantry Marine, has his BS in Kinesiology and Pre-Law, he is easily the most amazing person I know. Yes, I am one of those people who is consumed by LOVE! Right now we are 14 hours away from each other, and yes distance is a B*TCH! But I can honestly say I think we do an amazing job at it, of course there will be bumps when you can't see and hold the thing you love most in the world, we battle mis-communication, juggling schedules, and separation anxiety but I can honestly say everyday, every second he is worth it! I have a 4lb yorkie (Jessi) and a fat tabby cat (Oscar)

Such a great movie
ReplyDeleteCan't sorry..watched the movie..ONE TIME..and I could not subject myself to it again. It is really the best movie that shows the love of one Marine for another. I have seen this movie play out one to many times in real life and if you haven't seen it you MUST! Make sure you have plenty of tissue and if your loved one is deployed, maybe just maybe, wait until they get home and watch it with them.
ReplyDeleteGreat movie, but I have made it a habit to not watch military movies unless my husband is with me otherwise I might have way too many emotions to deal with! haha

ReplyDeleteGreat movie! But I just can't bring myself to watch any military movies. I watched this one alone and lets just say it wasn't a good idea.
ReplyDeleteWe own this movie, and I had to watch it with my husband. (I actually JUST watched it on Monday!) It's so amazing though to see everyone across America supporting the troops-sad that it had to be at death though.
ReplyDeleteIt was esp. hard for me though because the type of person Chance was and the way he died was extremely similar to my friend Jeremiah who died just a year later (2005) in Iraq.
I cried just watching that preview, that looks like such a good movie. Too bad I don't have HBO...
ReplyDeleteI have to get that on netflix NOW! WOW! The cars following him w/ their lights on.. the people at the airport, the people lining up on the side of the road... I got CHILLLLS!!! Ty Karley, I am going to get this movie! xox
